Yesterday was plain awful

So...Luke's out of town again, and I haven't minded much except for yesterday.  For some reason, all three of my children got it into their heads to be as hellishly naughty and whiny as possible.  The boys fought all day and Juliet, the poor thing, had some sort of stomach issue that made her crampy and cranky ALL DAY.  Seriously.  There was about one hour of the whole day in which she was awake and not crying.  And I didn't even spend that hour doing anything productive, I was on the phone with Luke telling him how remarkable it was that she was calm. Open mouth, insert foot.  8 hours later I was trying to rock her to sleep after a full day of screaming and I was on the edge and ready to jump.  Sheesh.

It's not like I have high standards people.  I had two goals yesterday: #1 Do day one of P90X, this training program Luke and i decided to do (It's supposed to be a really great program and i'll keep you all updated on our progress.  I could post my before pictures, at 4 weeks postpartum, but I don't want to ruin anyone's appetite.  I'll hit ya with the after pics if we get some good results) and goal #2: maybe clean my bathroom if I got around to it.

Good news is, I met my goals.  Bad news is, the one hour workout video took me three hours to do.  Well, here's hoping that lifting routine was only enhanced by hefting a screaming baby a dozen times throughout the thing.  At least my patience got a workout!

Good luck with the P90X! I was almost seduced by Tony Horton's infomercial...but realized I have a ton of other items that are supposed to do the same thing...and I haven't used them. You'll be my litmus test, ok???

Caught your "Annie" reference in the title. Very sneaky. :) Hope today is better... but then again, how could it not? You'll be seeing me. :)

Oh wow. I think you may have just convinced me to stick to just one child. I'm getting a bit scared of my fat potential with the decrease in my level of activity. Shoot.
That's awesome though that you stuck to it and finished it! It's fun huh.
We missed ya at the fireworks!

Ugh, I hate those days! Let me know how P90X goes. I'm seriously thinking about investing in it...
